Luxul‘s new High Power AC1900 Dual-Band Wireless Access Point (AP), to be released in October, combines high output power with 802.11ac 3×3 Dual-Band technology.

Touted as a “best in class Wireless Access Point designed specifically for the CI channel,” the XAP-1510 product delivers data rates up to 1900Mbps and complete wireless coverage.

Along with faster speeds, the XAP-1510 is equipped with Beamforming, which directs signals from the AP toward each client, focusing the data transmission so that more data reaches each targeted device instead of radiating in all directions equally.

It can be used as a standalone AP or as part of a multi-AP deployment as it is compatible with Luxul’s XWC-1000 wireless controller.

Installation is simple, says Luxul, requiring only a single Ethernet cable that delivers both power and data through the integrated PoE+ port. The design allows for unobtrusive mounting on a ceiling, wall or other flat surface. A mounting bracket is included that mounts easily to most regions’ standard electrical boxes.
