Platinum Tools Shows Off New Patch Panels at InfoComm 2016

Platinum Tools has announced that it will feature its new Patch Panels family during InfoComm 2016.

A provider of solutions for the preparation, installation and termination and testing of wire and cable, Platinum Tools says the Patch Panels have been designed to increase network flexibility and are now shipping.

“These are efficient and convenient solutions to terminate all the cable runs coming in from various rooms to one main location, such as a server room or wiring closet. Patch panels are key components to connecting and routing circuits in any network,” says John Phillips, product manager for Platinum Tools, in a company press release.

  • 667-12C6S:  12-Port Cat6 Shielded Patch Panel
  • 651-24C5:  24-Port Cat5e Non-Shielded Patch Panel
  • 661-24C6:  24-Port Cat6 Non-Shielded Patch Panel
  • 668-24C6S:  24-Port Cat6 Shielded Patch Panel
  • 675-24C6AS:  24-Port Cat6A Shielded Patch Panel

Additional specifications include:

  • 110 / Krone punch down tool compatible
  • Meets ANSI/EIA/TIA 568C.2 standard
  • Color coded label for easy wiring (T568 A & B)
  • Wire gauge range: 22 thru 26 AWG
  • Solid or stranded wire

Philips also adds that Platinum Tools Patch Panels keep cables secure and in easily identifiable order, making it easier to re-configure and troubleshoot networks.
