Sony has upgraded its range of BRAVIA Professional Displays with three new 4K models featuring HTML5 capability that are said to be ideal for corporate environments, meeting rooms, retail and medical applications.

The new models are the 55″ FWD-55X8600P, the 65″ FWD-65X8600P and the 85″ FWD-85X9600P (85″ 4K).

The FWD-55X8600P, FWD-65X8600P and FWD-85X9600P all offer the ability to transform any full HD content into 4K content. The 4K LCD panel produces four times the pixels of Full HD, while the ultra-slim design enhances any corporate or retail environment.

Standard mountings for installation as well as straightforward operation and controls allow for easy integration. Hotel Mode allows users to customise and store preferred settings and copy them from display to display via USB memory.

Compatible with 4K 60p content, each display offers screen in native 4K and includes USB playback (including 4K video files), IP control, RS232C control (with optional accessory CBX-H11/1) and HTML5 for easy digital signage creation.

“The new BRAVIA Professional offering is Sony´s second generation of 4K Professional Displays. Customers will benefit from the improvements of the new models at a very competitive price, and can take advantage of 4K for their professional applications,” says Thomas Issa, display product manager at Sony Europe. “The HTML5 capability and our incredible 4K picture quality allow users to display their video, signage, demonstrations and communication in a simple and engaging way.”
