Cellphone-Mate Makes it Official, Changes Name to SureCall

Cellphone-Mate, maker of the SureCall brand of cellular signal boosters, announced that the company has changed its name and is now doing business as SureCall.

“We’ve had tremendous success creating a strong brand identity for SureCall,” says Hongtao Zhan, the company’s founder and president. “The name more accurately demonstrates the company’s mission, which is to ensure better voice and data signal quality for mobile phones and other cellular devices.”

SureCall has been making cell phone signal boosters and accessories in Fremont, Calif. since 2001. The systems are designed to improve cell phone reception for businesses, homes and mobile settings. The company’s line of FCC-approved boosters for personal, commercial and industrial use increase the range and reception of almost any cellular call and/or data transmission.

Founded in 2001 and based in the Silicon Valley, SureCall has multiple patents pending on its 5-band signal booster technology.
