The commercial integration industry’s annual InfoComm show is a time for the industry come together, network, research, train and, in general, get work done.
In the last couple of years, however, it has also become a time and place to share “selfies,” more specifically #AVSelfies.
After all, who is doing all that work in this industry? People. People with unique personalities. And there is no reason why work can’t be enjoyable. Besides, how long does it take between appointments to snap a photo on a phone and share it?
The folks at AVNation have done a nice job proliferating the #AVSelfie and turning it into a “thing” that InfoComm attendees do. AVNation’s Chris Neto explains it best.
