As of May 1st, Warren Chaiken will become President and CEO of Almo Corporation and its subsidiaries.
Chaiken, formerly President and COO, will be responsible for Almo‘s financial division in addition to his current duties.
Almo is a leading distributor of major appliances, consumer electronics and professional A/V equipment. The company says this is one step in its long-term succession plan. Warren was appointed by Gene Chaiken, Chairman of the Board.
“During Warren’s tenure as President and COO, Almo has grown to become the largest distributor of appliances and consumer and professional electronics in the United States,” says Gene Chaiken. “Warren and I will continue to actively work together on the overall Almo strategy to ensure sustained profitable growth for all of our stakeholders.”
Warren Chaiken has been with Almo for 20 years, and was named President in 2004. He is a graduate of Lafayette College and the Pennsylvania State University MBA Program.
