AVI-SPL, a prominent digital enablement solutions provider, announced it has signed a letter of intent to acquire Sonics AVI Ltd. (Sonics). Sonics is an AV integration firm in Dublin, Ireland. Per a statement, it has earned a reputation for helping large brands create new value with modern workplace solutions. The firm also works closely with companies of all sectors in Ireland and across Europe to ensure smooth operation and impact of AV and meeting technology.
The acquisition is expected to close by the end of February 2022, according to a statement. AVI-SPL adds that it sees tremendous growth opportunity with Sonics in its local market and will bolster operations there. The company also views Sonics’ experienced business towards strengthening its capabilities in Europe and beyond as AVI-SPL’s global footprint continues to expand in key markets like India.
The Sonics team will become an extension of the U.K.-based company. Together, the two operations say they will create a more connected world for their customers. They will also guide organizations through technology transformations with digital enablement solutions designed for hybrid work at a global scale.
