AVPro Edge has unveiled the HEX and DEX USB 2.0 over IP extension solution, designed to integrate seamlessly into its MXnet Evolution II ecosystem. This new offering aims to provide reliable, long-distance USB connectivity while maintaining compatibility with high-end systems.
The HEX and DEX solution leverages USB-over-IP technology. Multiple HEX and DEX devices can operate within the same network, offering significant flexibility for system integrators. Both devices are powered via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), eliminating the need for external power supplies and enhancing long-term reliability.
To ensure compatibility with a wide range of devices, the HEX transmitter features a USB-C port for host connections, while the DEX receiver includes two USB-A and two USB-C ports, accommodating various peripherals. This design supports futureproofing and adaptability for evolving technology needs.
