LAIA Technologies announced it will demonstrate at InfoComm 2025 (booth 4169) how to both increase PTZ and collaboration camera performance and reduce system commissioning costs. The company adds that it is showing the full breadth of cameras that have the latest generation AI-enabled functions built-in, and work seamlessly with audio solutions from the top manufacturers. Moreover, the company will demonstrate its breakthrough camera set-up and control software that’s revolutionizing deployment of camera ecosystems, per a statement.

LAIA Technologies adds that it will show its offerings for higher education (the company is a HETMA Gold Partner) at InfoComm 2025. Here, it will demonstrate how it is empowering AV integrators and end users with better-performing and more easily manageable camera systems for corporate collaboration, courtroom, faith, broadcast and live event applications throughout U.S.

“This year more than ever, it’s not just about the camera unit itself,” remarks George Meglio, VP of business development at LAIA Technologies North America. “It’s about giving you the tools to design and install the camera ecosystem more efficiently, more quickly, and without the need for costly add-ons that drive up complexity and costs. With our solutions, there is less troubleshooting in the set-up, and starting day 2 there’s less equipment for the support team to take care of and troubleshoot.”

Value Proposition of Camera Offerings

LAIA states that the key to its value proposition for all camera offerings is the new IAVS (Intelligent Audio Visual Systems) software that leverages advanced API’s to allow the seamless operation of LAIA cameras with other AV system components such as third-party beam forming mics from Nureva, Shure, and Sennheiser, for better audio tracking, and more.

Per the company, the software tracks and switches cameras automatically based on accurate voice detection information, providing a single virtual camera output combining up to four LAIA PTZ IP cameras to Teams, Zoom or Google conferencing software.

“The performance of our new cameras is astounding, the smoothness and versatility of the tracking, the optical performance, the latest AI,” says Gary Plavin, president, LAIA Technologies, North America. “But smart integrators are focusing also on the software that drives PTZ cameras. With our package, not only do you need fewer components to get the system up and running, the software allows more, better and easier customization of your system. Our unique software is key to how we help eliminate the spiraling commissioning costs around camera set-up and deployment.”
