Modern Atomics gained attention with the launch of Reaktor, its award-winning solution featured at ISE in Barcelona. A Commercial Integrator Top New Technology winner, Reaktor powers 22 Somfy RS485 SDN low-voltage motors. According to the company, its patented AI power supply technology reduces up to 99.75% of idle electrical current waste, saving hundreds of kilowatt-hours per shade annually. The system also features a compact, wall- or rack-mountable design and straightforward setup.

Modern Atomics is set to unveil Collider, designed with the future of PoE in mind. Built on the foundation of Reaktor, the initial version is a half-rack, 1-kilowatt, 16-port Gigabit bt++ switch for PoE motors. This PDU features redundant AC and solar power options, self-power regeneration, and energy storage for up to three weeks. Each of its 16 ports delivers 90 watts of power simultaneously, and installation requires no networking expertise, according to Modern Atomics. Shipping begins in December

Also new is Tokamak, a dual-purpose power supply and winner of a Commercial Integrator 2025 BEST Award, announced at InfoComm 2025. Tokamak powers up to 10 shades (485 or RF motors) and integrates with larger Modern Atomics PDUs in systems supporting up to 192 shades. By supplying DC power to up to 8 PDUs, it eliminates the need for individual DC injectors, reducing space, cabling and AC outlets from 8 to 1. It is now available for shipping.
