QSC, the Costa, Mesa, Calif.-based, audio, video and control solutions provider, announced a strategic expansion across the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform —introducing new solutions that standardize collaboration spaces within high-performance workplaces, while also strengthening support for hospitality and entertainment applications through native hardware and software innovations. This expansion includes the introduction of Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular Systems, Q-SYS Connect for Zoom Rooms, MPA-Q Series network amplifiers, the X Class Server Core X50r and the Control & UCI Training Milestone Credential.
Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular Systems
Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular Systems introduce a new hardware and software approach for collaboration systems, purpose-built for the rapid deployment of standardized medium-to-large spaces at scale. While traditional Q-SYS Core-based systems leverage Q-SYS Designer Software to support customized, high impact spaces, Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular Systems extend Q-SYS into more standardized collaboration environments through a streamlined, web-based, no-code workflow optimized for fast, repeatable configuration and deployment. Both approaches are unified through centralized cloud management via Q-SYS Reflect.
At the center of Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular Systems is the RMP‑100, combining processing with a built‑in network switch for native Q‑SYS collaboration peripherals, along with advanced AV distribution and bridging functionality. The system also includes the QIO‑VEN4 expansion module, enabling additional localized peripherals positioned closer to user AV bridging endpoints.
“Our customers already rely on the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform to deliver their most demanding, highly customizable spaces,” says Sanjay Kulkarni, vice president of product, Q-SYS. “Q-SYS RoomSuite Modular Systems extend that platform into standardized collaboration solutions across more space types, enabling a more complete, high-performance workplace under a single platform.”
Q‑SYS Connect
Q-SYS Connect simplifies the meeting room control challenge for divisible meeting spaces with an innovative solution for Zoom Rooms. By linking all controllers to the active Windows-based compute device in combinable spaces, Q-SYS Connect ensures seamless control while retaining flexibility. Utilizing Q-SYS TSC-101-G3 hardware and easy-to-deploy Windows software, this integration empowers users with a certified Zoom Rooms room controller solution, no matter how their high-impact spaces are configured.
MPA‑Q Series Network Amplifiers
MPA‑Q Series network amplifiers introduce a new, mid‑power tier to the Q‑SYS network amplifier portfolio, reinforcing Q-SYS commercial and entertainment roots by extending native Q‑SYS integration into even more performance and distributed audio applications across hospitality, retail, corporate and government environments. Available in four‑channel models that provide 250 or 500 watts per channel, and eight‑channel models that provide 125 or 250 watts per channel.
X Class Server Core X50r
Q0SYS’ X Class Server Core X50r, AV&C processor, is designed to support hospitality and entertainment installations. It combines the Q‑SYS Full Stack AV Platform with industry‑proven server hardware to deliver an abundance of DSP processing power to enable the most demanding and complex large‑scale AV applications. Server Core X50r supports 10Gbps networking, which enables upwards of 2x the network audio channel capacity of the existing Q-SYS Core 5200.
Control & UCI Training Milestone Credential
Q‑SYS is announcing one of the most prestigious accolades to date, the Control & UCI Training Milestone Credential. This is only achievable upon successful completion of the training’s culminating assessment, “The Big Exam,” available to those who have completed the Control & UCI Advanced course focusing on Lua Scripting.
