Planar Clarity Matrix with ERO (Extended Ruggedness and Optics) Glass

We have installed video walls, kiosk and standalone signage displays for years. Like most AV integrators we recommend what we feel is the best product, at the best price for our customers that meets their requirements for functionality. Recently, we began looking past what our customers are doing with their investment today, to anticipate what they will want to do with it in the future.

If the display is in a public space it needs to be protected. Planar’s bonded ERO glass does this. If it is touchable in a public place, eventually they will likely want it to be interactive. The ERO glass is touch ready. This means you will need to add an IR touch bezel, but not the heavy glass overlay. This is especially important with video walls as the weight of the glass affects installation and service costs greatly.
