In this exclusive Commercial Integrator interview, D-Tools reflects on resources that will help integrators thrive even amid challenges. Tim Bigoness, who serves as CMO for the end-to-end software solutions provider, also previews the company’s InfoComm 2025 show floor presence. Watch the full interview to learn how D-Tools’ two platforms — System Integrator and D-Tools Cloud — can empower integrators to implement solid, repeatable processes.
Early in the interview, Bigoness level sets by emphasizing how strong 2025 has been for D-Tools. “[For] our flagship, SI, we just released Version 23 a few weeks ago,” he says. “We’ve been doing monthly releases of D-Tools Cloud and adding functionality.” In short, the first half of 2025 has been a nonstop sprint.
D-Tools’ Business Resources Shine During Stressful Times
According to Bigoness, in economically stressful times like these, D-Tools’ value proposition really shines. “We exist to help our customers run better businesses,” he reflects. Ultimately, D-Tools helps integrators organize their workflow — where sales are coming from, where costs are, how long projects take — right from the beginning of the sales process.
“One of the things that we do really well is help companies document their process, track their labor, track their time to install, manage pricing for multiple different applications [and] customers, and [lay] that foundation to have an organized and repeatable process,” Bigoness explains. That way, decision-making isn’t ad hoc.
Later in the interview, Bigoness urges viewers to visit the D-Tools booth at InfoComm, #3521, to hear more about the latest iterations of SI and D-Tools Cloud. “We’d love people to come see us at InfoComm,” he says. “Come see us at Booth #3521 just to see what we have, what’s new, what’s coming and talk to our team.” Bigoness closes on a note of excitement to connect with customers and other industry stakeholders next month.
