The patented EXO Crimp Frame® is the last crimp tool you will ever need. The crimp frame highlights inter¬changeable dies that work with past, current and future connector designs. The interchangeable die is reversible for right or left handed use. Connectors lock into the die to prevent miss-crimp and eliminates potential damage to the tool. Platinum Tools currently offers two interchangeable dies that will work with the new ezEX-RJ45®, EZ-RJ45® and standard RJ45 connectors. The new patented EXO Crimp Frame® was designed for the professional integrator and will perform at a high level for years to come.
The new patented ezEX-RJ45® connector is a single connector solution for Cat5e6/6A cables. The ezEX-RJ45® is designed with a Hi-Lo stagger with the EZ pass through design. It features a 10 gig and POE rating that meets and exceeds the needs for all current and emerging technologies. Crimping the ezEX-RJ45® connector with the new EXO™ crimp tool will provide an ultra-flush trim as we completely remove the front face of the connector allowing a reliable fit into all ports and switches. Platinum Tools offers two ezEX connectors styles, the ezEX™44 supports most Cat5/6 cables and the ezEX™48 designed for large conductors (Cat6A) up to 22 AWG.
