Oregon-based Planar, prominent in visualization technology, and sister company OptiTrack, the provider of 3D tracking systems, announced plans to present a diverse portfolio of established and emerging broadcast technologies at NAB 2022.
Per a statement, the companies will demonstrate the latest advancements for broadcast production needs. This will range from cutting-edge fine pitch LED display solutions for in-camera virtual production to state-of-the-art motion capture (Mocap) solutions for advanced camera tracking.
NAB 2022 also marks the first NAB show since the launch of Planar Studios in 2021. Planar Studios is an initiative designed to revolutionize the explosive virtual production (VP) and extended reality (XR) markets, states the company. This initiative leverages Planar’s fine pitch LED display solutions and ultra-precise tracking cameras and Mocap software from OptiTrack.
