In this exclusive Commercial Integrator interview, Catherine Koutsaris of Matrox Video previews the company‘s InfoComm 2025 plans. Koutsaris, who serves as product marketing manager, offers a comprehensive overview of everything that showgoers can look forward to seeing at Booth #2821. That, of course, includes plenty of technology demos and booth activations throughout the show.

Early in the interview, Koutsaris shares why she believes InfoComm 2025 will be a difference-maker for Matrox Video. “We’ve got some cool new products,” she enthuses. “We have new features on existing products that we’re showing for the first time at InfoComm. So, we’re excited to get these products in the hands of our customers.”

Notable Matrox Video Solutions at InfoComm 2025

On the product front, Koutsaris offers a comprehensive overview of notable solutions that Matrox Video will display in Orlando. These include the Avio 2 IP KVM device, which is the world’s first IP KVM based on open standards like IPMX, ST 2110 and NMOS. With respect to encoders and decoders, there’s the ConvertIP SDM module, which is a ConvertIP encoder in a Smart Display Module form factor. “It can be inserted directly into a monitor that has SDM capabilities,” Koutsaris explains. No mounting a box on a wall; much less cabling. Plus, Matrox Video will be showcasing its ConvertIP DSH, which now has an IP-to-IP gateway feature.

Matrox Video’s Mura DVW is a highlight on the videowall side. “It’s our distributed videowall appliance,” Koutsaris explains. “That comes with a brand-new browser-based configuration and management tool.” Plus, she mentions the company’s LUMA Octal graphics card. “With this graphics card,” she says, “you can power up to eight synchronized 5K displays or four synchronized 8K displays, all with a single card.”

Later in the interview, Koutsaris describes some demos and booth activations that will highlight this wide range of technologies.
