Hollyland Technology, the Irvine, Calif.-based wireless video & audio transmission provider, will release its newest wireless microphone, the Lark M2, on January 10, 2024. Per Hollyland, the latest microphone is the smallest in the company’s product lineup, coming in at 9 g for the transmitter. These compact microphones continue Hollyland’s promise to produce quality microphones for users at both the professional and amateur content-creating levels, the company says. Being lighter in weight reduces sagging from microphones that dangle in the wind or move when the elements change the film environment.
The Lark M2 operates with a studio-grade 48kHz/24bit Hi-fi sound quality, featuring MIC components and advanced audio algorithms that work seamlessly to deliver a natural, high-fidelity sound with fractional loss. Using the Lark Sound app, users gain access to customized tools, including noise cancellation adjustments and recording preferences. The app is available in both Android and Apple stores. The Lark Max M2 comes with both Android and Apple receiver connections and capabilities.

With 40 hours of battery life, the Lark M2 has an extended battery life for all-day recording. The microphones can be changed fully two times with the mobile charging case, as well as the full charging case takes less than 1.5 hours to complete its charging, says Hollyland Technology.
The range for the Lark M2 is 1000 feet, serving as a reliable connection to subjects. Through the transmitter, users can take control over the quality of the video recording. On the other end, with the receiver, there is an intuitive knob for volume adjustment at a moment’s notice, as well as a direct computer connection with the UAC function, eliminating external sound cards.
