NDI, the global standard for plug-and-play IP video connectivity, has launched a new NDI Professional Course, designed for AV professionals to build on their foundational knowledge and develop AV-over-IP (AVoIP) skills and expertise. Available now through the NDI Connected Community, the course empowers AV pros to design, deploy and optimize advanced NDI workflows.
The NDI Professional Course builds on foundational concepts from its introductory course and is part of the company’s broader initiative to provide certified training to its growing global community of users. Ideal for professionals looking to gain recognition as NDI experts and seeking the tools to build scalable systems, this course empowers users to unlock the potential of NDI.
“We see a lot of content about NDI technology and workflows, and we appreciate our ecosystem’s enthusiasm,” says Roberto Musso, technical director at NDI. “However, some of this information could be outdated or technically inaccurate. It’s important to have a single trusted source of truth, especially for professional use. That’s why we’ve introduced the NDI Professional course: to help our community become more knowledgeable and skilled with NDI.”

Connected Community members receive access to the course content and all future updates for a one-time fee of $25. Participants will also obtain the NDI Professional Certificate signed by NDI’s technical director, and AVIXA certification with 3.5 renewal units for CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, and ANP. The course includes workflow walkthroughs and applied use cases, offering flexible, anytime learning.
The NDI Professional Course is available now to all Connected Community members at community.ndi.video. NDI has already certified its first group of NDI professional users.
The introductory NDI Basics Course remains free to all users, and additional professional-level courses which cover NDI Tools and specific use cases are in development. NDI Professional offers more advanced certification (3.5 RUs compared to 2.25 RUs for NDI Basics), however, users are not required to complete the Basics course beforehand.
