tvONE Introduces Several New Products from CORIO Family at ISE 2018

tvONE has introduced an HDMI 4-port output module for CORIOmaster, providing the 4RU C3-540 CORIOmaster video wall processor with up to 56 outputs at ISE 2018 [Hall 1, Stand M130].

The company is also launching CORIOview, which officials call “the fastest, most intuitive 8 input 1/2RU 4K UHD multi-window processor with an extended front panel” in a press release, and have introduced a range of new features and modules for the C3-340 CORIOmatrix (4RU) and C3-310 CORIOmatrix mini (1RU).

tvONE is also demonstrating CORIOgrapher, its proprietary creative video wall design software for the CORIOmaster family.

The CORIOmaster family of modular 4K video processors with CORIO scaling feature mixed input resolutions, pixel perfect window placement, source and screen orientations, bezel adjustment, edge-blending and customizable output resolutions.

CORIOmaster systems also feature streaming media and 4K playback modules, which allow digital video from the cloud or the Internet to be blended with local media and AV connections and presented together on a video wall in any desired configuration.

Meanwhile, CORIOview allows for each of its eight inputs to be viewed in any of the eight video windows with ultra-low latency. This solution is ideal for IP streaming as well as AV, broadcast and legacy inputs and embedded or S/PDIF audio outputs.

CORIOview supports mixed input types, color borders, source labeling, audio meters, audio delay and logo insertion. Additionally, it supports source and preset transitions, offers landscape and portrait output options for displays, and is LED wall-capable with custom resolution management.

The unit can be controlled through its front panel via CORIOgrapher or through the API. It features auto-layout functionality, which automates preset selection. Users can take full control from the front panel with user definable or pre-programmable presets, video and audio switching and with the ‘info’ button, which displays on screen information on the source and window selection.

The CORIOmatrix release “is designed for installs needing to easily integrate mixed AV sources such as SDI, IP streams, 4K HDMI and legacy formats in a single device at very low latency,” according to a tvONE press release.

CORIOmatrix supports any standard or custom resolution from 640 x 480 to 3840 x 2160 to allow users to integrate any source and any display including projectors and LED walls.

The 16 modular AV slots (4RU chassis C3-340) provide the ability to mix and match video formats in the switcher. The quantity and type of modules selected determines which formats will be accommodated and the matrix size (12+ input/ output module types to choose from).

CORIOmatrix supports any standard or custom resolution from 640 x 480 to 3840 x 2160 to allow users to integrate any source and any display including projectors and LED walls.

Control and configuration of the CORIOmatrix can be done via API via RS-232, an IP interface or through an internal web interface. An optional monitoring module that creates thumbnail composition previewing of all inputs and outputs (including embedded audio channels) is an additional feature. This module is configurable and has 2 DVI/HDMI outputs which can show different information/layouts.
