Blue Sky will immediately take on the Neurilink brand, according to the joint announcement from the companies. Blue Sky was a 2015 PSNI Best Place to Work, while Neurilink took home the honor for firms with fewer than 50 employees in 2017.

“The joining of these two companies under the Neurilink brand is part of planned strategic growth to better serve the custom audio visual design and integration needs of the Northwest,” according to the joint press release.

“From planning and design through technology installation and training, the company provides audio visual collaboration solutions for conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums, training rooms, operations centers, and many other unique spaces in industries including corporate, government, healthcare and education,” the announcement says.

Recent projects completed in the northwest U.S. by the two companies include work for Redfin, the Community Health Plan of Washington and Delta Dental in Washington as well as the J.R. Simplot Headquarters, Saint Alphonsus, and the city of Boise.

“We are proud to be based in one of the nation’s fastest growing metros, but our aspirations don’t end at the state line,” said Neurilink president Mike Fornander in the announcement.  “While we’ve designed solutions for clients from coast to coast, our primary focus is the northwest. Joining with Blue Sky allows us to diversify our expertise and broaden our footprint in Seattle.”

The combined team of 46 Neurilink employees will continue to work from established offices in south Seattle and downtown Boise.

“It was apparent early on in our discussions that our cultures and collaborative approach with our clients were in sync,” said Blue Sky principal Laura Moorhead, who will become a VP with Neurilink along with fellow principal Greg Tazioli. “Joining with Neurilink expands our technological expertise to ensure we are big enough to provide best-in-class solutions for large complex projects yet small enough to remain an accessible and trusted partner.”
