  • The offering is the first service under the new LG PRO Services program.
  • The program covers fixed-price All-in-One DVLED and scalable cabinet-based indoor DVLED installs.
  • LG says the service is designed to reduce deployment complexity for partners.

What did LG Electronics USA launch?

LG Electronics USA launched LG PRO Services – DVLED Installation, a new installation service for its commercial Direct View LED portfolio. The company says the offering covers fixed-price All-in-One DVLED models and scalable cabinet-based indoor DVLED solutions as part of a broader move to support customers beyond hardware.

The launch marks the first offering in the new LG PRO Services program. LG describes the service as an effort to help partners plan, deploy and scale DVLED projects with more confidence as demand shifts toward full-service support.

Why is LG expanding its services around DVLED?

LG is expanding its services around DVLED to reduce complexity for partners while helping them protect margins and customer relationships. The company says the move strengthens its existing reseller and integrator ecosystem by adding manufacturer-backed installation support.

According to LG, the service allows partners to stay focused on broader project scopes such as audio, control and integration while LG supports the display installation process. The launch also expands the LG PRO partner program with added capabilities tied to deployment execution.

What does James Pfenning say about the launch?

James Pfenning says LG is broadening its value proposition from hardware to services and solutions. “At LG, we are transforming the way we deliver value to our customers by moving beyond primarily hardware to solutions and services that augment our partner capabilities, simplify deployments and enhance customer outcomes,” says Pfenning, senior director of B2B Technical Sales & Services at LG Electronics USA.

He adds, “Customers aren’t just looking for installation support. They want a trusted partner who can ensure the success of DVLED projects of any size, from start to finish. Together with our partners, we’re proud to bring this offering to market.”

How does the new service connect to LG’s existing support?

The new service builds on LG’s existing field engineering support installation consultation service. LG says that earlier offering, introduced four years ago, provides on-site oversight, mount and inventory verification and best-practice guidance intended to help partners avoid product damage and improve installation quality.

With direct installation now added, LG says it can offer a higher level of engagement. “Integrators and end-users will gain confidence through manufacturer-backed deployments, with consistent and professional results,” Pfenning says. “By combining LG product expertise with standardized installation execution, we’re helping customers and partners streamline deployments ranging from single-site installations to larger rollouts.”

What responsibilities will LG and integrators handle?

LG and integrators will split responsibilities through scope-of-work documentation that defines each party’s role. LG says its responsibilities may include mount, cabinet and module installation as well as controller programming, while integrators remain responsible for site readiness, power, data and sources.

The company says the structure is intended to simplify purchasing and implementation across a range of indoor DVLED projects. LG positions the new service as a quality and execution support option for resellers, integrators, consultants, specifiers and end users.
