Xyte, developers of the first AI-powered cloud platform to connect, orchestrate, monitor, and troubleshoot connected devices at scale, announces two senior leadership appointments to accelerate its next phase of growth.
Matt Stone joins the company as vice president of Marketing, bringing over 20 years of SaaS and technology marketing experience. In addition, Andrew Gross has been promoted to senior vice president of sales and U.S. general manager, recognizing his instrumental role in scaling Xyte’s commercial operations.
Matt Stone Joins Xyte as VP of Marketing
Stone will lead Xyte’s global marketing strategy, brand development and demand generation programs. He joins from EverChain, where he served as chief marketing officer and drove double-digit growth through ABM and digital campaigns, says Xyte. Previously, he was SVP of marketing at Verisk Marketing Solutions, where his team generated nearly half of the annual sales pipeline for the Fortune 500 data provider. Stone has also held executive roles at Photon, 1E and Real Capital Analytics.
“What excites me about Xyte is the ability to bring real benefits to end users – giving them visibility, efficiency, and peace of mind in how their devices work. At the same time, we’re helping manufacturers and service providers deliver more value, faster. With Xyte’s use of AI to unlock smarter device management, that story becomes even more compelling,” says Stone.
Andrew Gross Promoted to SVP of Sales & U.S, General Manager
Gross, who became Xyte’s first U.S. hire in 2022, has played a key role in expanding the company’s footprint across the Americas. According to Xyte, he has been pivotal in scaling the commercial team to achieve multimillion-dollar annual recurring revenue (ARR), building a substantial sales pipeline, and driving industry adoption of recurring hardware-as-a-service (HaaS) revenue models. His efforts have also contributed to Xyte securing over $40 million in funding from investors such as Intel Capital, Samsung Next, BlackRock and S-Capital.
Before joining Xyte, Gross spent 10 years at Crestron Electronics, where he established the global Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) team. During his tenure, he reportedly drove a significant 30-fold revenue increase for Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms solutions.
“Being part of Xyte’s journey from early idea to global momentum has been incredibly rewarding. I’m proud of the team we’ve built, and I’m excited to continue driving growth as we scale across markets and bring more AI-driven automation into the way our customers manage and support their infrastructure,” says Gross.
Accelerating Growth in AV/IT
With these leadership appointments, Xyte aims to solidify its position as a preferred platform for device manufacturers, resellers and managed service providers. Initially focused on the AV industry, the company is now expanding into adjacent markets such as building management and lighting. By integrating AI into its platform, Xyte seeks to provide predictive insights, enhance support capabilities and introduce new monetization models. These advancements are designed to help partners minimize downtime, improve user experiences and scale their operations more effectively.
“Matt and Andrew bring the experience and vision we need as Xyte enters its next stage of growth,” says Omer Brookstein, CEO and co-founder of Xyte. He continues, “Their leadership will help us scale globally while continuing to innovate with AI to better serve our partners and customers.”
