Photon Education, the European-based edtech company, designing interdisciplinary tools for classrooms, has signed an exclusive agreement with edtech distributor Midwich to bring its solutions to U.S schools. This agreement brings together two global brands to address schools’ needs for engaging STEAM and assessment tools.

Photon Education is introducing its two flagship product lines to the U.S. market, the Photon Robot which is an interactive robot that combines social competencies such as teamwork and communication with technical/STEAM skills to engage K-12 students through hundreds of ready-to-use lessons, and Classwise which can help teachers gamify lessons by enabling live quizzes, real-time feedback and data-driven assessment. It can make any lesson interactive without requiring personal student devices, the company says.

Midwich Expands Portfolio with Photon Education Partnership

The introduction of Photon Education technologies to the U.S. addresses a rising demand for gamification and engagement-driven learning solutions, as well as solutions that enable real-time assessment of student progress.

“We provide schools across the United States with innovative, high-quality technologies that support student success. Photon Education was a perfect fit as a partner,” says Chase Bernhardt, associate vice president of business management at Midwich U.S. “This partnership enables us to expand our portfolio of solutions to support teachers in daily instruction and learning measurements across subjects.”

This partnership leverages Midwich’s strategic, established distribution network to provide nationwide access to Photon Education’s technologies. It enables teachers in the U.S. to introduce new tools and methodologies for engaging students and objectively assessing progress. The Photon Robot and Classwise help create a classroom engagement and assessment ecosystem that supports teachers in daily instruction.

Photon Education’s Founders and Global Recognition

Photon Education was founded by Marcin Joka and Michał Grześ, whose work in educational technology has been recognized internationally. Both founders participated in the MIT business acceleration program and have received multiple distinctions in global rankings and competitions, including Forbes 30 Under 30, New Europe 100 by Google and Microsoft Imagine Cup. Their vision has shaped the company’s evolution from hardware innovation into a comprehensive classroom engagement and assessment ecosystem adopted worldwide.

Photon Education’s U.S. expansion is led by Chris Klein, VP of North America, an experienced education technology leader known for driving market growth and adoption of immersive learning solutions in the U.S., including his role in scaling the success of ClassVR across the region. His leadership supports the strategic introduction and positioning of Photon Education’s ecosystem within the North American education market.

“Our Photon Robot and Classwise are designed to increase student engagement and interaction, helping schools become environments that students and teachers want to return to every day,” says Klein. “Already in use in 50 countries today, we are enlisting Midwich as our distributor in the United States, because of their deep expertise and established distribution channels.”

According to Dorota Dankowska, a highly decorated elementary educator and educational thought leader, “Classwise transforms lessons into dynamic, joyful sessions full of collaboration and engagement. Our teachers use it across subjects – from language to science – to introduce topics, review knowledge, and reinforce concepts. Instant feedback helps students identify mistakes immediately while building independence and logical thinking.”

Through the strategic partnership between Midwich and Photon Education, U.S. teachers gain access to technology and solutions that can significantly transform teaching methods across all subjects.
