Editor’s Note: Here, Commercial Integrator’s editors highlight one of our 2025 Integration Award-winning projects. Logic Integration’s work for The Sportsbook Bar & Grill earned top honors in the Best Bar & Restaurant Project category. Read on to learn why our judges deemed this project the most impressive bar/restaurant overhaul of the past year!
The Sportsbook Bar & Grill, located in Greenwood Village, Colo., suffered a devastating fire caused by vandalism. Sadly, this forced the longstanding neighborhood favorite to shut down for many months. The damage affected not only the bar but also a neighboring restaurant. Amid the chaos, owners Judson and Jeremy focused on taking care of their team. They helped employees find work at other locations and supported their livelihoods while the rebuild was underway.
Sportsbook Bar & Grill Gets Complete Restoration and Upgrade
The Sportsbook contracted with Logic Integration to help design and execute a complete restoration and upgrade of its audio and video systems. Logic Integration has a longstanding relationship with the Sportsbook ownership group, having completed projects at multiple locations over the years. Because of this trusted history, Judson and Jeremy turned to Logic Integration to help reimagine and modernize the technology infrastructure during the rebuilding process.
Judson led the charge on this project, working closely with Logic Integration to shape the vision, manage logistics and oversee the execution of the AV rebuild.
His focus was clear: Deliver a top-tier technology experience for Sportsbook’s loyal guests while preserving the familiar, sports-driven atmosphere that the community had always embraced.
Logic Integration Was Onsite Immediately
In the immediate aftermath of the fire, one of Logic Integration’s team members actually saw the same-day news coverage. By the next morning, the integration specialist was already onsite, helping with cleanup, carefully removing the AV rack for evaluation and assessing what equipment might be salvageable. That immediate response set the tone for a rebuild rooted in trust, urgency and partnership.
Ultimately, Logic Integration delivered a complete AV rebuild at The Sportsbook Greenwood Village, upgrading all core systems with commercial-grade audio, video and control infrastructure. The solution centered on a new Planar display package, Aurora AV-over-IP distribution, Origin Acoustics pendant speakers and subwoofers, QSC DSP processing and a robust Crestron control system.
More than 40 TVs — many of them salvaged and reused — were integrated with 30 new Aurora VLX-TC1 transceivers and a central RXC video processor. Apple TV, Comcast and DirecTV sources were routed seamlessly to any display. A new SLM 65-inch display and two SLM 55-inch displays, both from Planar, were added for coverage, mounted using commercial Strong ceiling and wall hardware.
Logic Integration Delivers Redesigned Audio for Sportsbook Bar & Grill
The audio system at the Sportsbook Bar & Grill was completely redesigned, featuring 24 Origin Acoustics pendant speakers and three PPSUB8B subwoofers for zoned audio indoors and outdoors. Audio distribution and tuning were handled through a QSC Core 110f DSP with three high-performance amplifiers. WattBox UPS and power conditioners were installed for power stability and remote serviceability via OvrC.
All components were centralized in two Strong 42RU racks with full thermal management, vertical WattBox strips, patch panels and structured wiring using plenum-rated cabling. The Crestron CP4 processor, paired with existing tablets and a TSW-1070 touchscreen, allowed intuitive one-touch control for staff.
The installation comprised a complete AV system overhaul, completed under tight deadlines within the broader fire and smoke damage restoration effort. The Logic Integration team worked in close coordination with general contractors, electricians and inspectors to ensure infrastructure requirements — power, conduit, network drops — were met without delays.
Logic Integration Overcame Challenges
Because of the nature of the fire restoration, the site presented several challenges. Equipment racks, mounts and wiring had to be reinstalled in freshly rebuilt walls and ceilings. Coordination was essential to route new conduit paths, reinforce speaker points and pull miles of cabling across zones without impacting other trades. Ceiling grid rework and HVAC placement had to be navigated to mount the 24 pendant loudspeakers and associated subwoofers.
There was significant emphasis on rack buildout and thermal management. Strong enclosures were equipped with fan kits, power strips and venting, ensuring longevity for the digital equipment. A new NETGEAR managed switch backbone and Araknis PoE switches were deployed for fast AV-over-IP switching across the venue.
Logic Integration also added sound masking infrastructure and cable-management packages with labeled terminations and tested performance across all endpoints. DSP programming was customized for “music” and “sports” modes, giving the Sportsbook staff dynamic control over the customer experience with the tap of a button.
Installation was completed with onsite testing, tuning, staff training and OvrC remote monitoring setup, ensuring long-term reliability and proactive service.
Sportsbook Bar & Grill Thrilled With the Results
Sportsbook Bar & Grill leadership and staff were thrilled with the results. After months of hardship, the reopening was more than just a return. It was, in fact, a community event. The AV system played a central role in helping the bar reestablish its identity as a go-to gathering place for sports fans in Greenwood Village.
Judson and Jeremy praised Logic Integration not only for delivering a high-performance AV solution but also for being a dependable partner throughout a highly emotional and complex rebuild process. They highlighted Logic Integration’s professionalism, responsiveness and understanding of the venue’s culture and clientele.
The upgraded system has allowed Sportsbook Bar & Grill to streamline daily operations and offer a more immersive viewing experience across all zones. Staff members were trained quickly on the intuitive Crestron interface, and the programmable DSP modes have made transitions between daytime dining and high-energy sports nights much easier.
Positive Community Response

The community response has been overwhelmingly positive. Regulars returned to a space that felt familiar but enhanced. Now, the venue boasts crisp video distribution, clean audio zones and an enhanced level of overall comfort. With 24 pendant speakers and zoned subwoofer audio, the environment adapts to match the mood of any event — from UFC fights, to NFL Sundays, to casual weekday service.
This project represents a powerful story of resilience, community support and collaboration. The Sportsbook’s successful reopening has been a source of pride not only for its owners and staff but also for the loyal patrons who rallied behind them.
Logic Integration is honored to have played a key role in making that comeback.
