Shure Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Appointments

Shure has announced significant leadership updates, welcoming two new vice presidents and appointing a longtime officer to its executive staff.

Phil McPhee Joins Shure as VP of Operations, Chief Supply Chain Officer

Phil McPhee joins as vice president of operations and chief supply chain officer, bringing over 20 years of global leadership experience in operations and supply chain management. He has led complex, multi-site operations across North America, Europe, and Asia, with a strong track record of scaling global supply chains, strengthening operational excellence, and aligning manufacturing strategy with long-term business growth.

In this role, he will be responsible for the Shure’s global operations division and supply chain functions. His leadership will be pivotal, the company says, as it continues to strengthen its operational foundation, drive scalable innovation efforts, and ensure resilience and excellence across its global supply network.

Jerome Nolasco Joins Shure as VP of IT to Lead Digital Transformation

Jerome Nolasco has been named vice president of information technology, leveraging his expertise in digital transformation and enterprise AI governance. He brings to Shure more than 25 years of enterprise IT leadership experience across multiple industries, with a track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation, modernizing core technology platforms, and partnering closely with business leaders to drive measurable outcomes.

Nolasco has deep expertise in ERP and CRM transformation. He is also recognized for establishing enterprise AI governance and advancing practical AI use cases with business partners across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance. His approach emphasizes strong business cases, disciplined execution, and alignment with enterprise strategy.

Althea Ricketts Appointed Shure VP of Corporate Initiatives, Advancing Inclusion, Diversity & Sustainability Leadership

Additionally, Althea Ricketts, a 30-year Shure veteran, has been appointed vice president of corporate initiatives to the executive staff, continuing her leadership in inclusion, diversity and sustainability.

“Althea’s journey at Shure spans more than 30 years, with impactful leadership across Global Marketing, Global Sales, Customer Service, Strategic Planning, and Support Services,” says Schyvinck. “Her experience and customer-centric approach have shaped key transformation initiatives across all facets of Shure’s business processes.”

Outside of Shure, Ricketts is a recognized voice in AV, frequently representing Shure at industry events. In 2025, she was named President of WAVIT (Women in AV/IT), underscoring her dedication to industry leadership and inclusion.
