Hitachi America, Ltd., has added to its flagship line of Solid State Light, or SSL projectors.
Among the newly added products to the SSL projectors line are the LP-WU6500 5,000-lumen laser projector and the the LP-WU9100B 10,000-lumen laser projector.
“Hitachi is determined to provide projector and display solutions wherever the need exists,” states Mike Morin, strategic sales development, Hitachi America, Ltd.
“We recognize the advantages that laser projectors bring to the market, like performance and maintenance and low cost of ownership, and we want to ensure that our customers can find the perfect projector for each installation.”
“The expansion of our SSL projector line was a natural next step, and the 5,000 and 10,000 lumen projectors are strong examples of the innovation we have prepared for this line.”
Wide Color Ranges on New SSL Projectors
A key feature of the SSL projectors is their ability to produce wide color ranges that don’t compromise the brightness capabilities and resolution of the projectors.
Hitachi says another key attribute of the SSL projectors is to provide users and integrators with low-maintenance performance attributes that include a lifespan up to 20,000 hours and instant on/off options. [related]
The LP-WU9100B projector provides users with a 1920 x 1200 UWXGA resolution in addition to its 10,000 lumen output capabilities, and it also comes with 360-degree installation options.
Hitachi supports the LP-WU9100B with a choice of lenses, as well as five digital inputs that include a pair of HDMI inputs: HDBaseT, DVI-D and 3G-SDI.
Hitachi also explains the LP-WU9100B projector is engineered for heavy use applications such as digital signage and 24/7 installations, ranging from education and houses of worship, to corporate A/V environments.
The WU6500 SSL projector is a single-chip DLP-based unit that is similar to the higher lumen output LP-WU9100B.
The WU6500 delivers a 1920 x 1080p WUXGA resolution, with the same low-maintenance capabilities, and a choice of four digital outputs that include HDMI and HDBaseT.
