AtlasIED Bolsters Business with Three Industry Veteran Hires

The company’s hiring of Graham Hendry, Mike Ulrich and Riccardo Balistreri is part of a strategic initiative focused on strengthening the premium loudspeaker marketplace.

AtlasIED strengthened its expertise in commercial audio with three key company hires. Graham Hendry, VP of loudspeaker strategy; Mike Ulrich, VP of specialty acoustic projects; and Riccardo Balistreri, director of acoustical engineering, represent AtlasIED’s latest additions. The new hires are part of a strategic initiative that will focus on product development, strategy, design and positioning of new products for the premium loudspeaker marketplace across a variety of industries. This includes hospitality, specialty commercial, corporate and entertainment.

AtlasIED, a Phoenix, Ariz.-based global electronics manufacturer, provides comprehensive audio, communications and security solutions for commercial markets.

Bolstering AtlasIED

Hendry joins AtlasIED in the newly created position as VP of loudspeaker strategy. He has more than 25 years of experience in premium audio in engineering, business development, and leadership. Hendry will thus lead all facets of the company’s loudspeaker business strategy. During his career, he also served in multiple leadership positions. Additionally, he has extensive experience building teams, and defining, developing and implementing product and brand strategy for a comprehensive range of products.

In another newly created position of VP of specialty acoustic projects, Ulrich will lead engineering and design for specialty acoustical projects. He is a highly accomplished executive, the company states. In fact, he carries over 20 years managing research and development operations as well as leading consumer electronics and professional audio product design.

Deep Experience

Finally, Balistreri joins AtlasIED as director of acoustical engineering. He has more than 20 years of specialization in loudspeaker product design engineering. Balistreri will thus direct acoustical engineering efforts for the loudspeaker business. According to AtlasIED, he also has deep experience in loudspeaker product development, electronics and electromagnetics. Moreover, he has managed engineering and quality assurance programs at various stops in his career.
