Conference Technologies, Inc. (CTI) has acquired Comprehensive Technical Group (CTG), an audiovisual solutions and broadcast systems provider headquartered in Atlanta. [related]
“The addition of the CTG to establish our presence in Georgia with a reputable integration and broadcast team will help us serve our clients in the area through our continued growth,” said CTI president and CEO John Laughlin in the joint announcement.
“Jim Wile and his group bring so much expertise and we are excited to have them aboard,” he said.
Wile, founder and owner of CTG, is excited to have the CTG team join the CTI family.
“The team and resources CTI have developed aligns with our goals and customer needs through a national presence that will bring a wealth of knowledge to Atlanta,” he said in the joint announcement.
“We are eager to continue to serve our clients, be able to provide more offerings, and fortify what we have built the last 28 years in the region and beyond with Conference Technologies,” he said.
Wile has been named the director for Atlanta operations as a founding presence for CTI and has joined the leadership team.
Why CTI Wanted CTG
The addition of the Atlanta team grows Conference Technologies, Inc.’s location count to 22 offices nationwide. CTI employs more than 500 people throughout the country as providers of AV/IT, live events and broadcast technology solutions.
Earlier this year, CTI acquired Techteriors, a residential and commercial integrator of Mequon, Wisc., in a move to expand its operations in Milwaukee.
“The addition of the Techteriors team to expand our presence in Wisconsin helps us bring solutions to more people,” said CTI president and CEO John Laughlin in the joint announcement in May.
“Through this strategic move, we will establish a division in residential AV and add to our existing team in Milwaukee with some very talented people,” he said at the time.
