Commercial Integrator sits down with Firat Ozkan and Douglas Evans of Mount-It! To discuss their push to help integrators with mounting needs.
CI: Why has Mount-It! PRO decided to pursue the integration channel, and what can the company provide to the integration space?
FO: Long established as a recognized brand name in the mounting solutions and ergonomic office products spaces, it seemed natural to round out our product offerings to bring the same level of quality and affordability to the Professional AV market.
We aim to disrupt the market and bring the heat to the established manufacturers in this space by offering advanced, yet affordable mounting solutions. We work directly with our top suppliers to optimize the supply chain and logistics to deliver our products quickly and inexpensively – our customers will see those savings directly.
With a warehouse on each coast, delivery times are shortened, and shipping costs are contained. Plus, with products like The Beast, our heavy-duty articulating mount built specifically for the new 110” and over, 275lbs and heavier, displays hitting the commercial market, we stay ahead of the technology curve.
DE: In addition to offering a wide range of mounting solutions, we bring top notch support. We view our Reps, Resellers, and end-users as valued customers, not simple transactions. Pre-sales design, product training, and after-sales customer care our top priorities. Our customers know they can rely on us to support them from start of project, through completion. CI: What kinds of products can Mount-It! PRO offer to integrators and their customers?
DE: With opportunities to serve the growing digital signage and public display markets, we have a wide range of mounts to suit nearly any application in the ProAV space. In addition to standard mounting hardware, we have infrastructure products to support the hugely popular direct-view LED projects taking their places in sports venues, corporate offices, entertainment complexes, and transportation centers across North America.
Mount-It! PRO delivers menu board mounts for use in quick-serve restaurants and sports bars, video wall solutions for use in public display applications, our dvLED mounts, display stands, video conferencing mounting support, and our many manufacturer-specific specialty mounts.
FO: We provide mounting solutions for almost any manufacturer’s displays and applications – all at highly competitive prices. But what we want the ProAV world to know is that we are adding over 100 commercial mounting products – not accessories – but discrete mounting products, to our over 500 home, office and ergonomic items in our current catalog. If there is an application, chances are we have a mounting solution to fit.
CI: What makes Mount-It! PRO products different from those that integrators might use from other manufacturers?
FO: We provide an opportunity to promote value to our customers and offer the same – if not better– products at lower price points while providing an excellent value proposition to our integration partners. Plus, we feel so strongly about the quality of our products, that we back them up with an industry-leading 10 year warranty!
DE: At Mount–It! PRO, our tag line is “advanced, yet affordable.” This means not only do we deliver rugged mounting solutions at low cost, but we also keep abreast of technology changes. For example, our universal mounting adapters can accommodate nearly any manufacturer’s installation requirements at significant savings. Or, for standard mounting needs, we can bring the same high-quality mounts that AV systems installers are used to, but at much, much better prices.
CI: What can integrators and the channel at large expect from Mount-It! PRO moving forward?
FO: We offer high-quality, durable, integration infrastructure products at tremendous value, but not only that: We are viewed by integrators, resellers, and independent reps as a true partner – a trusted resource that will see projects through from start to finish and beyond. In-person and video training, evaluation products, design support, after-sale care and service are just some of the many ways we’ll have the backs of our integration partners.
DE: And as we advance, we’ll tailor our catalog to serve the changing product requirements from both the integrators and the display manufacturers themselves.
