InfoComm 2026 welcomed 28,132 verified attendees from 94 countries. Total registrants reached 35,707. The show hosted 807 exhibitors across 395,500 net square feet of floor space at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with displays spanning audiovisual solutions, collaboration, retail, broadcast, digital signage, AI-driven systems and immersive experiences.

Why Did AI Define InfoComm 2026?

AI emerged as the defining theme because it appeared across keynotes, education sessions, show floor experiences and exhibitor demonstrations. Attendees explored how the technology applies to workplace collaboration, content creation, customer engagement, enterprise communications and operational efficiency.

What Were the Four Immersive Activations?

The show featured four activations that put industry trends into practice. Each one gave attendees a working environment rather than a static display.

  1. Smart Workplace, powered by FORTÉ, demonstrated how integrated technologies, AI-enabled collaboration, workplace analytics and enterprise communications create more connected work environments.
  2. The Pitch, powered by Diversified, brought together sports, broadcast, live events and fan engagement technologies through production workflows, collaboration spaces, hospitality experiences and interactive audience features.
  3. Retail Experience, with Bluesound Professional, BrightSign, Poppulo and Samsung, explored how AI, digital signage and connected systems shape customer engagement through immersive experiences, personalized content and new customer journeys.
  4. AVIXA TV turned the show floor into a working broadcast studio, running live production workflows, content creation and industry conversations.

Who Delivered the InfoComm 2026 Keynotes?

Microsoft and Cisco executives delivered the two main keynotes. Ilya Bukshteyn, corporate vice president for Microsoft Teams Calling, Meetings and Devices, opened Wednesday by outlining Microsoft’s vision for AI-powered communication. He highlighted new voice agents for Microsoft Teams Phone, enhanced Teams Rooms capabilities and AI-driven meeting experiences built to streamline routine tasks and improve hybrid collaboration.

On Thursday, Espen Løberg, vice president and general manager, collaboration devices at Cisco, shared the company’s vision for Connected Intelligence. He pointed to the AI-powered Director Agent and the concept of “Distance Zero,” showing how intelligent systems work across Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Zoom to create more equitable hybrid experiences.

What Happened at the AVIXA Women’s Breakfast?

The AVIXA Women’s Breakfast drew hundreds of attendees and featured Mariana Atencio, a Peabody Award-winning journalist, entrepreneur and author. Her presentation, “Real Matters: Building Trust in an Unreal World,” focused on authenticity, leadership and trust in the age of AI.

What Was InfoComm’s First Media Day?

InfoComm 2026 introduced its first Media Day, giving journalists and analysts curated tours of major announcements across the show floor. The Future of Work and Future of Experience tours featured exhibitors presenting new technologies, partnerships and product launches across enterprise collaboration, broadcast, live events and immersive experiences. Verified media attendance grew 35% over last year.

What Did the Education Program Cover?

The InfoComm 2026 education program offered more than 300 sessions on AI, workplace technology, broadcast AV, digital signage, enterprise IT, collaboration and integrated systems. New additions included the AI Accelerator, Vision Stage programming and Spotlight Stage presentations. Attendees also joined Future Workplace and Future Retail tours, the Broadcast AV Tour and Integrated Experience Tours that showed AV technology at work throughout Las Vegas.

How Many Certifications Did Attendees Earn?

Attendees earned 129 Certified Technology Specialist credentials at the show. Of those, 74 earned the base CTS, 24 attained CTS-D for design and 13 attained CTS-I for installation. The total number of CTS holders now tops 15,800. Another 18 attendees earned the Audiovisual Network Professional certification, bringing the ANP total to 389.

What Is RESIDE and When Is InfoComm 2027?

RESIDE is a new event focused on the residential integration market that will debut alongside Lightapalooza at InfoComm 2027. AVIXA developed it through a partnership with HTSA and ProSource, reflecting the growing overlap between residential and commercial AV technologies.
