Of course, Mersive sees its meeting space solutions including Mersive Solstice 4.0, Gen 3 Pod and Kepler improving meetings and enhancing collaboration. During InfoComm 2019, however, it wants integrators walking away realizing that it also optimizes meeting spaces during times when the meeting isn’t taking place.

Mersive recently expanded its Solstice wireless collaboration platform to improve meetings and add value to the spaces. This includes:

  • The capability to allow any display to be used for collaboration
  • Providing Miracast support to increase collaboration participation
  • Developing an analytics solution that provides both meeting room monitoring and in-depth meeting analytics to aid stakeholders in optimizing space planning, workforce scheduling and more.

Most notably, Mersive Solstice added cloud-based software tool Kepler which collects data from Solstice Pods installed in meeting rooms and huddle spaces to provide insights into levels of user content sharing, device usage, meeting statistics, and room usage such as peak hour tracking, room popularity, average meeting length and more.

These are powerful pieces of data for an integration firm to be able to provide to their customers.

Mersive Solstice also added support for digital signage and added support for Miracast screen mirroring. Solstice users can now wirelessly share content onto a display using the native screen mirroring capabilities of all major operating systems -Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS.

Commercial Integrator talked to Mersive product marketing director Troy Suttle about plans for InfoComm 2019, and the company wants to hammer the point that integrators have an opportunity to provide more value for their customers’ meeting spaces than they might realize – and that tools such as Solstice enhances including data collection from Kepler be extremely beneficial

“We hope that that’s how our customers see us now as really that platform to optimize meeting spaces,” he says.

As such, Mersive is excited to show Solstice 4.0 combined with the new Gen 3 Pod in its InfoComm 2019 booth No. 3961.

The company will also be teasing new solutions. “We’ll be previewing some upcoming product developments,” Suttle says. “I’m not at liberty to say a whole lot but I think there is some pretty cool stuff coming.”
