Crestron and AV distributor Maverick AV Solutions have announced a new agreement in which Crestron will distribute its portfolio of platform-focused unified communication solutions globally to meet the growing demand for collaboration solutions.
According to an announcement, the agreement is designed to meet the collaboration needs for any kind of business environment and is the only such global distribution partnership for Crestron. It will be available in 16 European territories, the U.S. and Canada.
In a statement, Joel Chimoindes, vice president of Maverick Europe, called Crestron “one of the most established brands” in the pro AV market and praised the manufacturer’s work in developing hybrid work solutions.
“This collaboration will enable us to make them more accessible to our partners,” Chimoindes said. “We take a platform first approach alongside our integrators and Crestron’s accredited devices will be a great fit for our diverse community of partners.”

The agreement covers Crestron’s Flex Enterprise UC products, including the company’s suite of Microsoft Teams-certified devices. Devices to be distributed as part of this agreement include audio and video room solutions, audio conferencing, personal communication devices, room-booking panels, IoT sensors and wireless content sharing solutions. It also includes Crestron’s Mercury Microsoft Team Room ranges.
All of Crestron’s Enterprise UC products – including new ones as they’re developed – will become available to Maverick AV Solutions customers. This includes the forthcoming Android-based meeting room solutions for Microsoft Teams.

With Crestron joining Maverick’s portfolio of products, the company joins brands like Logitech, Microsoft, Lenovo, Barco, Samsung, Epson, LG, NEC, HP, Sharp, Avocor and more. Distribution of these products is available in 18 countries, including the U.S., Canada, and the UK.
