Talk about a plot twist. NanoLumens, which in June filed patent infringement lawsuits against LED display manufacturer PixelFLEX of Nashville, Tennessee for damages stemming from alleged infringement of United States patents issued to NanoLumens, has not only settled the lawsuit, but PixelFLEX has joined the NanoLumens Partner Program.
NanoLumens CEO Richard Cope recently announced the dismissal of its patent infringement lawsuit against PixelFLEX LLC in a press release.
He added that PixelFLEX has joined the NanoLumens Partner Program and will now exclusively market NanoLumens’ Nixel Series flexible LED under the name “TrueFLEX Visualized by NanoLumens.”
“We welcome PixelFLEX to the Partner Program and we look forward to working with them as they roll out their TrueFLEX Visualized by flexible LED displays,” Cope said in the press release.
“NanoLumens has invested millions of dollars and man hours in the development of pioneering innovations that have been justly recognized by the United States Patent Office. We stand behind our proprietary intellectual property and will continue to do everything we can to protect it against infringement. Our new relationship with PixelFLEX works to the benefit of everyone.”

Monty Rains, president and COO of PixelFLEX added that his company is pleased to have reached an agreement with NanoLumens and “are happy to have joined the NanoLumens Partner Program. Through this joint effort, we believe that our customers will benefit from the NanoLumens technology.”
According to the press release, the NanoLumens Partner Program encompasses an exclusive stable of integration partners with extensive LED display installation experience that receive hands-on training with their experts.

The initial patent infringement lawsuit included InFiLED USA, of Marietta, Georgia; DetaiLED Solutions, of Marietta, Georgia; and Gable Company, of Baltimore, Maryland in addition to PixelFLEX.
