Published: 2021-05-17

RingCentral and Verizon Business are partnering to bring cloud-based communication technology to enterprise customers in a suite of solutions designed to enable businesses to work from anywhere.

According to a press release, the companies will develop a co-branded service, RingCentral with Verizon, which the companies call a “seamlessly integrated UCaaS solution” for the enterprise.

The end goal is to equip businesses with one solution, relationship, contact, support center and implementation team for their unified communication deployments. Essentially, RingCentral’s message, video and phone platform will be integrated with Verizon’s network solutions.

Verizon says the offer is a key component of the company’s network-as-a-service strategy for businesses, which includes 5G, mobile edge computing, SD WAN and security. The partnership provides a secure cloud-based UCaaS platform to help businesses adapt to hybrid work

Enterprise customers can also extend the MVP platform into their broader cloud ecosystem including CRM, vertical integration and open APIs for custom integrations.
