Hall Research at InfoComm 2019: Not Just Another AV-over-IP Company

Published: 2019-06-07

It’s easy for AJ Shelat, VP of sales at Hall Research, to predict that the InfoComm 2019 show floor will be crawling with providers of AV-over-IP solutions.

Hall Research will be among those AV-over-IP providers at InfoComm 2019, but it shouldn’t be lumped into the group. Hall Research is unique, Shelat say. It has over 35 years of industry experience and over 20 years of doing video over Cat 5 cabling. Along the way it has continued to evolve at a measured and innovative pace that has led it to AV-over IP.

“We’re in our third year of AV-over-IP,” Shelat says.

While there will be plenty of AV-over-IP providers at InfoComm 2019, Shelat encourages attendees to consider the source.

Here’s What Sets Hall Research Apart from the AV-over-IP Crowd

“There are a lot of players in the market,” Shelat says, referring to the AV-over-IP category.

“We’ve been doing this for 35 years now. AV is in our DNA, We do it all day long. We’re definitely an engineering-led manufacturer. We’re still manufacturing close to 76 percent of our products right here in Southern California. Even with globalization and all the things that are taking place we’re still manufacturing a majority of our products here.

“We’re dedicated to manufacturing quality commercial grade solutions for the pro AV community. We’re able to leverage unique attributes. We’re not just a me-too manufacturer. We always bring in a unique feature set. We’re very flexible, we’re easy to work with.”

Along those lines, Shelat encourages InfoComm 2019 attendees to bring their product development ideas to Hall Research at booth No. 2949. He says the manufacturer-centric company wants to hear what integrators think would be important additions to their product line and will actually consider implementing.

“We want to deliver what our customers are looking for.”
