The EXT-UHDA-HBT2 with Ethernet, RS-232, 2-way IR, 2-way Audio, and Bi-Directional POH implements HDBaseT 2.0 technology. This second generation HDBaseT platform enables 2-way audio extension and ensures a solid and resilient connection up to 100 meters to a remotely located display. Resolutions to 4K Cinema up to 30 Hz 4:4:4 and 4K Ultra HD up to 60 Hz 4:2:0 or 30Hz 4:4:4 are supported. This product is compliant with the latest HDCP 2.2 protocol as well as the legacy HDCP 1.4. Up to 7.1 channels of digital audio including LPCM and High Bit Rate formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X are passed through.

HDMI, Analog Audio, IR, RS-232, and Ethernet are also extended from Sender to Receiver, over the same CAT-5 cable. IR and Optical Digital Audio are routed from viewing location to the head end. Bi-Directional Power Over HDBaseT technology provides power from Sender to Receiver or vice versa, or to other POH-class-compliant devices, using the same cable that extends the HDMI. The Gefen Syner-G software simplifies EDID Management and Link Monitoring. Low profile, surface-mountable Sender and Receiver units fit in tight places and accommodate Gefen locking HDMI cables for secure connections.
