In 2015, Peerless-AV created custom charging stations for Volta Industries. The kiosks featured a Peerless-AV 47″ Xtreme Outdoor Display inside an Xtreme kiosk with a 6′ backlit poster box, media player, EKM power meter, and cellular modem. Peerless-AV’s custom solution addressed Volta’s goals through weather resistance, visibility, security, and installation/maintenance.

The IP68 rated display and kiosk’s fully-sealed weatherproof design provides the utmost protection against outdoor conditions, operating in extreme temperatures (-40°F to 140°F). The optically bonded display is also equipped with ambient light sensors to adjust the screen’s brightness based on the surrounding conditions, providing a clear picture, even in direct sunlight.
