Kramer, in an email statement, announced that due to recent changes in U.S. import tariff regulations, the company will add a 15% tariff surcharge to all its product lines sold in the U.S., including Kramer, ZeeVee and Ashton Bentley. Per the statement, the surcharge will go into effect on May 9, 2025.
According to Kramer, the software and services are not impacted and will remain surcharge-free.
In the statement, the company remarks, “We know any cost increase is difficult. While this surcharge stems from federal regulation, we’ve made the choice to absorb part of the added cost ourselves to reduce the burden on you. This surcharge will appear as a separate line item and will not affect our MSRP.”
The company also reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and stability as a long-time partner to its customers. “We will continue to monitor the situation closely and adjust the surcharge as soon as conditions allow,” Kramer further noted in the statement.
