NSCA, the not-for-profit association representing the commercial integration industry, has announced the election of new officers to its board of directors for 2026-2027. The new leadership took office on July 1, 2026.
Who Is NSCA’s New President?
Shedan Maghzi, strategic advisor at Avidex and former NSCA treasurer, is NSCA’s new president as of July 1, 2026. He steps into the role after serving on the board and brings a focus on adaptability and collaboration across the industry.

NSCA plays a vital role in bringing our community together, sharing knowledge, strengthening the industry’s capabilities, and helping integrators build resilient, future-ready businesses,” Maghzi says. “As I step into this role, I’m energized and optimistic about what lies ahead. Who Did Maghzi Replace?
Maghzi replaces Dale Bottcher, chief revenue officer at AVI-SPL, whose term as president ended on July 1, 2026. Bottcher now serves as NSCA’s immediate past president, a role previously held by Dan Schmidtendorff, president and CEO at Communication Company.

Leadership originally announced during the 2026 Business and Leadership Conference that Valley Communications Systems CEO Michael Tremble would join the board of directors. A series of mergers and acquisitions prompted NSCA’s Leadership Development Committee to develop a new plan, and Tremble will remain co-chair of NSCA’s Business and Leadership Conference Planning Committee.
