The SC AVB Card is an Ethernet AVB high speed option card from dbx for the SC 32 and SC 64 digital matrix processors. With the SC AVB Card, SC devices are able to send and receive digital audio and control information through a RJ-45 port through a CAT 5e cable via a standard Ethernet connection. The SC AVB Card is able to send 64 digital audio channels and receive 118 channels from other AVB capable devices all through a high speed, low latency Ethernet network. The primary and secondary ports, located on the front of the card, are 100/1000 Gbps fast Ethernet/Gigabit connections. However, the secondary port is currently unsupported, but compatible firmware is expected to be released soon to allow for both ports to send and receive data.
