At Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2022, AVIXA will present a robust, multi-language education and networking program for AV professionals to enhance their careers and business connections. The week will feature the AV Experience Zone event, council gatherings, Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) preparation and test-taking and more. ISE 2022 will take place from May 10-13, at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Vía, Spain.

We cannot wait to be in Barcelona in a few short weeks celebrating ISE all together.”
Thought Leadership and Education Program
AVIXA will present the second edition of the AV Experience Zone. Presented in Spanish, it will explore the latest pro AV solutions and trends in the corporate, education, hospitality and retail markets. In addition, it will have market-focused guided tours of the exhibit hall.
For AV professionals studying for their Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) exam, AVIXA will have a CTS Walk-in Center. Here, they can meet with experts and trainers for help with preparation (in English, German, and Spanish). CTS testing is also available during the week at the Pearson VUE testing center. This is located about five miles from the Fira Barcelona Gran Via. Exams are available in English, German and Spanish, says AVIXA.

AVIXA will also host an Executive Peer-to-Peer event for Global Partner Program members. This event will facilitate strategic planning and business growth for AV companies. It will also showcase insights from AVIXA’s latest market research and feature guest speakers. The speakers will discuss smart workplaces as an industry disrupter and the evolution of smart buildings and pro AV.
Councils Unite the Industry
The AVIXA Women’s Council will also host several events at ISE 2022. On May 11, the council will host a Shared Experiences Panel. The event will feature inspirational individuals who will discuss their journey into the AV industry, challenges and how the AV industry tackles gender imbalance. The panel will thus feature Michaela Hirsch of Peerless AV, Greg Jeffreys of Visual Displays, Malle Kaas from Women in Live Music, Diana Quintero of Bose. It will also feature co-chair of the AVIXA Women’s Council, Anna Shahin from Audiologic and Rob Smith from Shure.
In addition, the AVIXA Women’s Council Italian group will also gather on May 11 for the first time in person. They will have an in-language panel to discuss professional experiences and the importance of women’s empowerment in the pro AV industry. The AVIXA Women’s Council DACH group will also unite on May 12 for its first in-person meeting. This networking event will be in German.
Forging AV Careers
Additionally, the AVIXA Diversity Council will present the panel “Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Intersectionality for Business” on May 12. This will feature Joe Way from the University of Southern California, Lara Paemen from the International Facility Management Association, Kevin McLoughlin of Sky UK, Rachel Hunt of Unicol, Girish Narayanan from Granteq, and Susana Alvarez of Newtech Solutions.
AV Career Day, taking place on May 11, will bring together students from Spain and beyond for a full day of AV exploration. It will also include panel sessions with industry experts and show floor tours.
