SDVoE Alliance Adopts Sustainable Approach to High-Performance AV

Published: 2022-04-20

The SDVoE Alliance announced the showcase of high-performance AV that promotes sustainability at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2022. ISE 2022 will take place from May 10–13, 2022, at FIRA Barcelona, Gran Vía. During the three-day event, the SDVoE Alliance will welcome Certified SDVoE Design Partners and Developers for free networking with members. SDVoE Alliance is a Canada-based nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments.

During ISE 2022, the SDVoE Alliance will focus on an industry-trending topic — sustainability. The SDVoE catalog of products will offer a mix of FPGA-based and ASIC-based endpoints. This will allow designers to optimize flexibility as well as cost and power consumption, says the organization. Additionally, all SDVoE endpoints, regardless of chipset, will interoperate seamlessly.

Interoperable Solutions, Minimal Environmental Impact

The SDVoE Alliance will thus support a global customer base with interoperable solutions that meet customer delivery demands amid ongoing supply chain disruptions. Presently, the SDVoE Alliance comprises over 50 members that are developing new, problem-solving solutions designed to integrate seamlessly together. Together, the members will launch over 700 products that provide system integrators, designers, consultants and installers with a reliable, sustainable solution.

Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance, expands on the sustainability. According to him, the AV-over-IP ecosystem with ASIC- and FPGA-based devices will augment flexibility. At the same time, it will minimize the environmental impact of a customer’s AV system.  Kennington continues, “The interoperability of SDVoE gives consultants, designers, integrators, and even end users the confidence to know that products will be available when needed. We are excited to showcase our growing ecosystem to those attending ISE 2022.”

The SDVoE Alliance will host an exclusive networking event for SDVoE Certified Design Partners and SDVoE Developers on May 10, 2022. The event will occur at 5 pm in stand 5K500. The organization also offers Design Partner and Developer certification programs. This is open to AV-over-IP leaders and experts in the design and architecture of SDVoE systems.
