Analog Way enhances LiveCore series

Published: 2014-07-01

Following the introduction of its LiveCore and Midra series of presentation mixers, Analog Way used this year’s InfoComm to “highlight [its] capability to further develop these existing platforms,” marketing & communications director Franck Facon told Commercial Integrator Europe.

Analog Way’s LiveCore series of Premium AV switchers currently come in two layouts: 8×2+1 for the NeXtage 16, and 12×4+1 for the SmartMatriX Ultra, Ascender 32 and Ascender 48. Now, from this autumn, full 4K will be available as an optional feature on all LiveCore series, including early stage units already in the field. Depending on the reference, several frame rates will be available as 4K/30P and 4K/60P.

Facon also highlights the include of real-time Perspective Layers on the Ascender 48 – a move that has resulted in “a unique and unprecedented solution,” he said. “Our capability to create and animate layers with a perspective effect in real-time has no equivalent on the market today. This feature which helps unleash creativity was acclaimed by our customers.”

Further developments announced at InfoComm included the ability to increase output capability on the 12×4+1 models with the new LiveCore Output Expander. The product comes in three different references: LOE016 for the SmartMatriX Ultra, LOE032 for the Ascender 32 and LOE048 for the Ascender 48. In addition, the company also showcased the new Vertige remote console.

FEATURED REPORT

Reflecting on the overall significance of the InfoComm show, Facon described the show as “a great place to meet integrators. This year, we’ve demonstrated a complete series of drivers designed to easily deploy the LiveCore and Midra series into automation and IT environments. With such drivers, our systems are definitely a great match for high-end integration projects.”
