What Did SAVI iQ Announce?
SAVI iQ announced native integration with EverPass, bringing live sports discovery, playback and scheduling into the SAVI platform. The integration ships with SAVI version 3.5.6 and gives bars, restaurants and entertainment venues one place to manage premium live sports across every screen from the same AV environment.
How Does the Integration Work for Venues?
Venue staff can browse current and upcoming EverPass events, search and filter programming by sport, select content for playback and schedule events, all without leaving SAVI. The integration supports EverPass programming, including live out-of-market football games, and extends control across SAVI Glass, Facility View and Program Guide.
What Capabilities Does It Add?
The integration adds seven capabilities built for high-volume game day operations:
- Live and upcoming event discovery: See what’s live now and what’s coming next.
- Search and filtering: Find events and filter programming by sport.
- Integrated playback control: Start, switch or stop EverPass content through SAVI, with safeguards against unintended source changes.
- Advanced scheduling: Schedule events through SAVI Facility View and Program Guide.
- Conflict detection: Flag overlapping scheduled events before they collide.
- SAVI Glass support: Let staff select and play EverPass content through the SAVI Glass interface.
- Automatic device discovery: SAVI identifies EverPass playback devices already configured for the venue.
Why Does This Matter for Integrators?
