Zero Trust Architectures for the Information Communication Industry
Thursday, Oct. 28, 3 p.m.
Based on recent news, webinars and sessions at NSCA’s Pivot to Profit last month, cybersecurity is quickly becoming a big deal in the system integration industry, with customers concerned with a service provider with remote access into their networks introducing risk of a data breach.
This session focuses on the concept of Zero Trust, which is essentially an IT security policy designed to harden networks and make it harder for bad actors to access the network, but also make it difficult to conduct further malicious activities if they are able to gain access.
Joel Bilheimer, a unified communications and cybersecurity architecture expert, and Kevin Davis, principal consultant at Advantage Engineering, will discuss how a Zero Trust approach will resonate with AV, UC and IoT system workflows and how it can align with NIST cybersecurity standards.
