Praised by Metallica’s legendary FOH “Big” Mick Hughes, Meyer Sound’s VLFC can be heard adding the low-end thump to Metallica classics such as “One” on the band’s “Worldwired” tour this summer. Employing a two-channel Class A/B H bridged amplifier, along with two 18-inch drivers, the VLFC operates from 30Hz to 13Hz. Meyer Sound points out the VLFC complements its 1100-LFC to create systems capable of reproducing high levels of low-frequency content. The VLFC installs in ground stacks, flown arrays, and it also installs in end cardioid arrays.
