PK Sound SW215

The self-powered SW215 from PK Sound is a two-way wedge that employs coaxial point-source technologies. The SW215’s high-frequency section features a 2.5-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver that is coupled to a 60-degree conical horn to produce controlled dispersion. The SW215’s bottom end his handled by a 3.5-inch voice coil with dual forced-air ventilation that supports its ability to handle high power levels. The PK Sound SW215 also includes an efficient 2,000-watt Class D amplifier with built-in DSPs that help it to deliver a flat frequency response. PK Sound adds the wedge also employs an EXL Polyurea coated finish, void-free Baltic birch enclosure. www.pksound.ca
