Editor’s Note: Here, Commercial Integrator’s editors highlight one of our 2026 Integration Award-winning projects. Logic Integration’s work for Colorado Springs’ Sportsbook Bar & Grill earned top honors in the Best Best Bar & Restaurant Project. Read on to learn why our judges deemed this project the most impressive Bar & Restaurant project of the year!

What You Need to Know

  • This marked Logic Integration’s fourth Sportsbook Bar & Grill project, and the established partnership let the team build on lessons from three prior locations.
  • The centerpiece is an Absen NX1.5 direct-view LED videowall measuring 37.8 feet wide by 7.09 feet tall across 48 cabinets.
  • A Datapath processor manages 17 source inputs, feeding a display network of 26 video surfaces across the interior and patio.
  • The venue sits beneath a dual-branded 259-room hotel property in downtown Colorado Springs, giving it a built-in game-day audience.
  • Logic Integration solved a short timeline, non-traditional LED aspect ratios and an existing hotel patio wall through a manufacturer-assisted install and unified control.

Why Did the Client Choose Logic Integration Again?

The client chose Logic Integration again because it had already delivered three Sportsbook Bar & Grill locations, and that track record built enough confidence to hand over the Colorado Springs buildout without vetting a new vendor.

Rather than starting from scratch, the client treated the project as a continuation of an established partnership. That trust gave Logic Integration’s design and engineering teams the latitude to build on lessons learned across the prior three locations, this time around the largest LED videowall of the four.

What Was the Scope of the Project?

The scope centered on transforming the Colorado Springs space into a large-format viewing environment through display, distributed audio and unified control. At the heart of the system is an Absen NX1.5 direct-view LED videowall spanning 37.8 feet wide by 7.09 feet tall across 48 individual cabinets, positioned as the visual anchor of the main dining and bar area.

Surrounding it, Logic Integration installed four Sony 65-inch displays in a 2×2 configuration on the kitchen wall, 11 additional 65-inch displays around the room’s perimeter and 10 more 55-inch displays split between the bar’s sides and ends.

How Does the System Manage Content and Control?

The system manages content through a Datapath videowall processor that routes 17 distinct source inputs feeding the LED wall, letting staff display any combination of live games, betting odds and promotional content at once.

A Crestron CP4 control processor ties everything together, paired with a 10.1-inch wall-mount touch panel and IR control modules. Aurora Multimedia AV-over-IP distribution moves signal across the venue, while a QSC Core DSP handles routing and audio processing throughout the space.

What Does the Audio System Include?

The audio system includes Origin Acoustics pendant speakers covering the dining area, in-room subwoofers reinforcing low end throughout the space and weather-rated speakers extending coverage to the street-facing patios. Origin Acoustics amplification drives the entire package. The result is consistent coverage that carries the game-day atmosphere from the interior to the outdoor seating.

What Makes This Installation Stand Out?

This installation stands out for the scale of the LED videowall and how it ties into the rest of the venue’s display network. At nearly 38 feet wide, the wall changes the character of the space, giving patrons a sightline closer to a stadium concourse than a traditional sports bar.

Logic Integration’s also interfaced the system with the hotel’s existing patio videowall, bringing it under the same centralized control as every display inside the restaurant. Combined with 26 individual video surfaces across the interior and patio, every seat, indoors or out, has a clear view of the action.

Why Does the Venue’s Location Matter?

The venue’s location matters because it sits directly beneath the dual-branded SpringHill Suites by Marriott and Element by Westin hotels, a combined 259-guestroom property in the heart of downtown Colorado Springs. T

hat positioning gives Sportsbook a built-in audience no standalone location can match, with hotel guests just floors above finding the same high-energy game-day experience without leaving the building.

Serving as a genuine amenity to the property above, while unifying a wall of this scale with a broad secondary display network, is what sets the Colorado Springs location apart even among its three sister venues.

What Challenges Did the Project Face?

The project faced a short lead time from construction to opening, leaving little room for delays across a system this large. Logic Integration also had to interface its new infrastructure with the hotel’s existing patio videowall, a system it didn’t design or install but still needed to fold into the same centralized control scheme.

On top of both pressures, the centerpiece LED videowall was built to non-traditional aspect ratios rather than a standard screen format, adding complexity to how content would be scaled and routed across it.

How Did Logic Integration Solve Those Challenges?

Logic Integration solved the compressed timeline by partnering directly with Absen for a manufacturer-assisted install, mounting the wall to owner-provided furniture-grade plywood backing so the structural work stayed on spec and on schedule.

The non-traditional aspect ratios ran through the Datapath processor, which handled the scaling and routing needed to display content correctly across the wall’s unconventional dimensions. Rather than running the hotel’s patio wall as a siloed system, Logic Integration brought it into the same Datapath and Crestron control scheme as the rest of the venue, giving staff one point to manage content across both the restaurant’s displays and the adjacent hotel-owned wall.

What Does the Client Say About the Result?

The client points to Logic Integration’s grasp of the vision as the reason the project landed.

“Logic has been great to work with. They understand our vision. They understand what we’re looking for and they really nailed it,” says Judson Dymond, co-owner of Sportsbook Bar & Grill.
