ISE Teams up with IOTSWC

Published: 2022-02-01

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) announced that it is joining forces with IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC). IOTSWC is considered the largest international event devoted to industry transformation through disruptive technologies. The two events are teaming up to present an ecosystem for digital transformation to professionals from many industries. ISE recently announced its ISE 2022 postponement in light of the omicron variant of COVID-19. IOTSWC and ISE will be held at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Via on May 10-12 and May 10-13, respectively.

Per a statement which describes the co-location as a joint celebration, it will provide an opportunity to explore the crossroads between two different sets of disruptive technologies. ISE’s experts will bring in audiovisual technology and systems integration. Alongside them, IOTSWC will bring leading experts and companies working on artificial intelligence, digital twins, the internet of things (IoT) and quantum computing.

The goal of this co-location is highlighting common ground. The organizations seek to offer new ideas and inspiration for attendees and exhibitors alike.

The agreement will also allow each show’s visitors to access both exhibition areas at no extra cost. Additionally, attendees registered to any of the ISE conferences will enjoy a 50% discount on the IOTSWC program. This will also be available vice versa.

Possibilities of Collaboration

The directors of both shows are enthusiastic about what this cooperation agreement promises for attendees.

Roger Bou, director, IOTSWC, says, “…At IOTSWC we believe that some of the key technologies we have been showcasing such as Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things have an incredible transformational potential for the professional AV industry.” Likewise, Bou remarks, the AV and systems integration industry can help to develop disruptive new solutions for the digital transformation ecosystem.

Mike Blackman, managing director, Integrated Systems Events, echoes the statement. He adds that AV and IT convergence has been an important industry trend at ISE over the past decade. Moreover, innovations in IoT have augmented to another level. He states, “…With our two events now happening at the same time and place this May, it is very exciting to be able to work together and explore even more areas of collaboration. The exciting world of pro AV and the inspiring innovations in IoT make all sorts of possibilities a reality.”
