What Is the E4 Experience?

The E4 Experience is the Pro AV industry’s original traveling regional event for integrators, consultants, IT managers and end users. Almo Pro AV, the value-added North American Pro AV distributor with nationwide reach, is bringing the event back on the road this fall after nearly two decades of delivering it to the Pro AV community. The customizable day-long format gives local attendees networking opportunities, a showroom of newly launched products, AVIXA-credited CTS renewal unit education and practical tips they can put to work right away.

The program earned two of the industry’s leading honors for event excellence in 2026: the SCN Stellar Service Platinum Award and a Commercial Integrator BEST Award.

When and Where Are the Fall 2026 Events?

The fall 2026 E4 Experience stops in Dallas on Sept. 15 and Boston on Oct. 15. The Dallas event moves to a new location at the Westin Dallas Park Central Hotel, while the Boston event takes place at the Boston Marriott Newton. Both events run a full day, and the agenda flexes for every participant whether they stay for the entire experience or drop in for an afternoon.

The daily schedule includes breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m., a keynote from 9 to 10 a.m. and the exhibit hall open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A live show floor tour with Steph Beckett runs from 10:15 to 11 a.m., lunch runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and concurrent CTS renewal unit sessions begin at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Why Does Almo Pro AV Emphasize Face-to-Face Connection?

Almo Pro AV emphasizes face-to-face connection because it says genuine, in-person interaction remains hard to replicate online. The company points to Eventbrite’s 2026 trend report, Reset to Real, which finds audiences increasingly drawn to experiences that feel personal and authentic.

“As humans, we know that nothing replaces the impact of face-to-face experiences,” says Greg O’Rourke, director of tradeshows and events for Almo Pro AV. “Industry professionals who attend an E4 Experience can expect to spend time with technical and service professionals, shake hands, catch up and network in our ‘family-like’ professional atmosphere. Following an E4 Experience, attendees should be able to immediately utilize the information and relationships they gain in a way that is both practical and profitable for them.”

Who Delivers the Keynote?

Tim Albright, founder of AVNation and author of Building on Ashes, delivers the keynote at both the Dallas and Boston events. Sponsored by Epson, his keynote, “Your Pro AV Business: Adapt, Partner, or Be Replaced,” carries 1 renewal unit for CTS, CTS-D and CTS-I holders and 1 renewal unit for STS-D and ANP holders. The session examines the evolving regulatory, security and economic landscape and its impact on Pro AV businesses.

Albright provides practical checklists, frameworks and strategies to help integration firms improve project quality while reducing risk, protecting margins and strengthening their position as trusted advisors to IT, facilities and Public Sector clients.
